After golf the Annual AGM Report Back meeting was held. Thank you to Paddy O’Sullivan from Farmers Agri-Care and Wally and Mel Gevers from Up-one Farming, and VJ Roopai from CPS Seedlings – our sponsors, for attending.

Chairman Piet Nel reported on the achievements and activities of the Club during this difficult Covid-19 year.

All our Sponsors were mentioned and thanked for their support of our club. Those who made appologies – Dr Rikus Kloppers, Bruce Prentice from Midlands Spraychem, Geoff and Heidi Newlands from Tuta Carriers and Shaun Carroll from Farmers Agri-Care. Rhino charcoal has also come on board with a charcoal sponsorship and we appreciate their prize.

The 2020 “Grand Priks” 2020 was won by Marius Muller – and half a sheep was handed over to him.

Golf Captain: Fanie van Wyk was unanimously re-elected as well as the rules committee of Dieter Meyer, Merwin Rabe, Fanie van Wyk and Piet Nel. Thank you to the committee for their dedication and service.

Piet also thanked all the members for their support this past year and those who have renewed their membership for 2021.

Members and Sponsors enjoyed dinner together and the club closed early as the Mug of Mugs was to be played the next day 20/12/2020 – where all the Farmers Agri-care Monthly Mug winners from Dec 2019 to November 2020 are eligible to compete.
