St Cathryn’s golfers have had to keep to their new year’s resolutions : to play more, play better and have fun at golf for the coming year – these resolutions were made early in December, at the start of the St Cathryn’s membership year.

Format: American scramble played in very hot conditions on 27 December 2024.
1st : Andrew Nieuwoudt, Nicole Nieuwoudt, Josh Gifford and Piet Nel 122 points.
2nd : Apie Hughes, Fanie van Wyk, Hein Lamprecht and George Tonkin 117 points
3rd : Andre Liddemore , Hannes du Plessis , Merwin Rabe and Troy Gifford 114 points. (they believed they earned 20 points more for walking 18 holes in 43 degree temperatures!!)

Selectors have been busy from Greytown and St Cathryn’s Clubs choosing their teams for the Earl’s Cup to be played 15 and 16 February 2025. St Cathryn’s, like in the IPL , selectors opting for experience and youth when choosing their team. St Cathryn’s are the current holders of the trophy.

The next Midlands Quad is to be played on 26 April 2025 at Noodsberg.
The next Farmers Agri- care Monthly Mug on 8 February 2025
