The St Cathryn’s Classic was played over a busy golfing weekend for the Umvoti area, and thirty six players enjoyed their golf at St Cathryn’s on Saturday 26 May 2018. The kikuyu rough was harsh at places, causing the ball to slide into darkness and only a white speckle was visible at times, costing a shot or two on some score cards. However golfers staying on the fairway had no problems.

The near perfect golfing weather, with a slight cool breeze, at times made for a fun filled day. Father and son combination. Badger and Gregan Aherin walked away with the thirty five year old,  JS Nel (PTY) LTD trophy.

Prizes were awarded to 13th position and consisted of Pro-v golf balls, Pro shop vouchers, meat hampers, fleece jackets, short sleeve jackets, cleaning products , meat boards  and power banks.
