The tee-box markers and pin positions were placed to commemorate woman’s day and St Cathryn’s male members acknowledge all women – our lady members, lady golf course workers , ladies playing at St Cathryn’s or Home owners spouses from St Cathryn’s. Of course they acknowledge all women… teachers, scientists, nurses, soldiers, police force… Mothers, granny’s, sisters, aunts and daughters.

All entrants to the mug were issued with a” Coastal kitchen” golf cap and we thank all sponsors, Farmers agri- care, Up one farming, Dr Rikus Kloppers, Rhino charcoal and the club’s supporting and green keeping staff for their contribution to the monthly mug.

Our North coast member, Merwin Rabe blasted away the field, and did not find the fast greens, tight pin position on the 5th and 12th too challenging, to scoop the May Farmers agri-care monthly mug, now boasting with more than a dozen mugs he has collected over all his years of membership.
