Two of our members represented St Cathryn’s at the “Champion of Champions” played at Kloof Golf club, but the rain over the weekend caused the organisers to reduce the 36 hole competition over two days, to a 25 hole, one day, Sunday competition.
Deon van Dyk, our Tuta Carriers Club Champion 2018, played 123 – 17, nett score of 106, and Dieter Meyer, our Match Play Champion 2018, played 127 -17, nett score 110.
The rain that fell here in Kranskop measured 30 mm and was most welcome, but Monday morning the course had a light blanket of frost.
This coming Saturday the 15th September the club will host the Farmers Agri-care Monthly Mug, and next weekend on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd September 2018 the Hermannsburg school will be having their annual golf day.
