Medal Golf is Alive & well!

Medal golf is alive and well in the Umvoti area. Greytown recorded thirty or so players two weeks ago and St Cathryn’s had eighteen golfers, with 4 apologies recorded. The members from Hillcrest and Pietermaritzburg arrived with the Greytown and local members, as well as competitive support from Greytown club.

Mention must also be made of the three, “husband and wife” teams that played. It looks like the lockdown did their marriages the world of good…

The course had fast greens and new pin positions, some were tricky, but others more friendly and there were no tight positions placed, due to the greenkeeper not playing.

The April Farmers Agri-care monthly mug was squeezed into this month to catch up, and planning is ongoing to get the Tuta Carriers Club Championship played as well.
